Let’s talk about …… Rainbows 🌈
🌈 Let’s talk about Rainbows 🌈
‘You can’t have the Rainbow without a little rain’
I LOVE rainbows, really, really love. seriously, my excitement is like that of a child. Friends even send me photos if they see them, because they know how happy it will make me.
( It’s nice that they think of me at such a special moment. )
To me, rainbows represent everything I love about life, they are magical, mysterious, spontaneous and so, so beautiful. They are a sign of hope and a reminder to live in the moment.… To see a rainbow is special.
In the world of Crystals, the question ‘Does it have Rainbows?’ Is often asked.
It’s interesting that a rainbow within a crystal, is often considered much more desirable, when all other ‘imperfections’ often make for the less appealing option.
There’s absolutely no doubting the beauty a rainbow can bring and the extra element of intrigue to a piece. This is especially so with the knowledge a rainbow can only be formed if the Crystal has been damaged at some point, causing internal fractures. The damage it has endured causes an imperfection within the growth, usually due to impact or extreme temperature change.
The Trauma the Crystal has suffered, results in stunning Rainbows coming to life. An effect that is also often associated to many human experiences.
As well as their gorgeous appearance and known healing properties, Rainbows within Crystals offer additional support, they are especially known for easing depression, supporting you through difficult times and uplifting the spirit. Rainbows are said to be a gift from the spirit of the crystal, bringing hope and optimism. They can change the vibration of the crystal, amplifying energies.
Often, these crystals are handled more frequently, as the rainbows are best shown with movement because of the way the light hits the surface, this can help the keeper bond with the crystal more, because of the exchange of energies.
Most commonly found in Fluorite and Quartz crystal an internal rainbow is a truly beautiful addition. I’m lucky enough to have quite a few of these special pieces in my personal collection and I definitely plan to add more if we’re brought together.
